For one of our customers in the defense industry, we are seeking a LINUX Technician. You will become a key person in the team responsible for managing and developing critical technical services. You will ensure the availability of systems and digital services, where security, stability, and precision are always in focus. The position can be based in Järfälla or Solna. Your responsibilities Standardize, optimize, and automate work processes and systems. Participate in projects related to the technical platform. Work in operations and support teams with troubleshooting and installations. Manage patching and upgrades of server environments. Ensure security requirements are met. Actively contribute to improvements in technology and processes. Security and security awareness are central to everything the customer does. You will help create conditions to protect sensitive information while collaborating effectively with colleagues around the world. Your profile We are looking for someone with a passion for technology and strong knowledge of LINUX, preferably with experience from larger operations environments with multiple operating systems. You are meticulous, service-oriented, and work well in a team. Additionally, you are driven to push toward automation and find more efficient ways of working. As a person, you are communicative, curious, and solution-oriented. You enjoy collaborating with different types of people, internally and externally, and readily offer improvement suggestions. Requirements: 5-8 years of experience in LINUX with a focus on server operations. Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or Python. Security-minded approach to automated configuration management. Strong technical interest and desire to stay current with the latest technology. Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written. Valid driver's license (Travel within Sweden may be required) Meritorious experience: Red Hat, SUSE Manager, or similar tools. Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes. System hardening. This position requires approval in accordance with applicable security protection regulations, which may include citizenship requirements.
