Where You Will Work Segevångsgården is a specialized residential care facility focused on cognitive illness and somatic care with 72 places, divided into six ground-level units. As a Living Life Inspirator, you are an important part of the team and are responsible for activities and ensuring that holidays and other occasions are prepared in the best way. Segevångsgården has a fantastic park-like garden and all units have access to it from the common rooms; additionally, each unit has its own outdoor patio. One unit with 19 residents is for persons with somatic illness, and the remaining five units are for persons with cognitive illness, 53 residents. At Segevångsgården, we have a stable team and engaged leadership. We work together and joy is a common thread in our work – lots of laughter and care for one another. We work extensively to reduce medication use and focus on care measures where the Living Life concept is also involved. We actively work with the BPSD registry and have recently become Star Marked. Job Responsibilities As a Living Life Inspirator at Segevångsgården, you will have a key role in creating a daily life filled with meaning, joy, and community for our residents. Your mission is to start from each individual – their interests, experiences, and dreams – and together find ways to activities and experiences that strengthen both well-being and quality of life. This can range from preserving old interests to awakening curiosity for something completely new. You contribute with creativity, commitment, and care, and ensure that daily life includes both small moments of golden quality and larger, shared activities. The role also includes leading and supporting activity representatives and contact persons, so that the entire team works together to create joy and variety in residents' lives. An important part of the work is also building networks and collaborating with associations, volunteer organizations, and the municipality, so that our residents have the opportunity to continue being part of society. Through your pedagogical abilities, you also share new knowledge and inspire colleagues to develop work based on person-centered and research-based methods. In short, you become the one who, together with us, makes a difference every day by focusing on quality of life. Job Description We are now looking for a colleague at 70% for a permanent position with a probationary period. To be a candidate for this position, you need: University education in health pedagogy or other relevant university education, for example occupational therapist/elderly pedagogue. Good knowledge of Swedish language in speech and writing We also see it as a merit if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care. To thrive in this role, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at creating good relationships and being service-oriented. We work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment. You who apply have lots of energy that you can adapt based on care recipients, many ideas, and an ability to motivate others, spread joy and positivity. It is a plus if you are interested in yoga and mindfulness or something in that genre. You have creative abilities that you can develop in activities with those who live here.
