We take care of you and offer development throughout your career. About Us Welcome to Närhälsan Kärra Health Center! We are located on Hisingen near central Gothenburg, Kungälv and Angered. We are a well-functioning health center with 9,464 registered patients, stable staffing and sound finances. The health center is located near Kärra centrum, adjacent to beautiful nature and within walking distance of the commuter train station, as well as free parking available. Our team includes general practitioners, ST physicians, district and nurses, nursing assistants, psychologist, social worker, rehabilitation coordinator and medical secretaries. We have a laboratory and clinics specializing in diabetes, asthma/COPD, and child healthcare. We offer our patients health coaching conversations to support lifestyle changes and healthy habits. We are responsible for elderly care facilities, LSS services and also collaborate with Kungälv Hospital. Together with team leaders and management, we are 29 employees. You work independently and alternately with clinic work. Guidance is provided by an experienced specialist who gives you support and knowledge exchange. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities. If you are interested in independent and varied work with patients where your and your colleagues' work environment is in focus, this is the job for you. About You You are a licensed physician with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare and have an interest in regional primary care and completing specialist training in general medicine. You possess Swedish language skills at least equivalent to C1 level according to the Council of Europe scale. We are looking for someone who is attentive and has good interpersonal skills, as you will meet many different patients at the health center during your work. You work independently and are confident in making your own decisions, while also contributing with commitment and initiative to the development of the clinic. This position is a one-year temporary contract, with possible extension and specialist training. For those who have trained as physicians abroad and have not completed AT in Sweden to obtain medical licensure, you are covered by the new regulations regarding Base Service starting July 1, 2021. Base Service for Physicians (BT) is a mandatory introductory part of specialist training in the new ST-2021 regulation (HSLF-FS 2021:8).
