We are seeking a licensed physician for a temporary position from December 2026 through August 2027 at the latest. You have a genuine interest in infectious diseases. Experience with the Cosmic medical records system is a plus, and we would appreciate it if you have a driver's license. You will receive an individualized introduction based on your experience. You will primarily work with inpatients in the Department of Infectious Diseases' care unit. The position also includes outpatient clinic work and on-call duty. During on-call hours, you are responsible, with good support from the backup on-call physician, for the unit's patients and provide medical consultation to other departments. The Department of Infectious Diseases is based in Jönköping and serves as the region's knowledge center for infectious diseases. The clinic consists of a care unit with 24 beds, a specialist outpatient clinic, and extensive consultation and advisory services provided in Eksjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. Currently, a pilot program for hospital-at-home care is also underway, where patients can receive parts of their antibiotic treatment at home.
