We're Looking for You Interested in trying out the specialty of infectious medicine? We're seeking a licensed physician for a temporary position from December 2026 through August 2027 at the latest. You have a genuine interest in infectious diseases. Experience with the Cosmic medical records system is a merit, and we appreciate if you have a driver's license. You'll receive a customized introduction tailored to your experience. You will primarily work with inpatient care in the Department of Infectious Diseases' ward. The position also includes outpatient clinic work and on-call duty. During on-call hours, you will be responsible for the ward's patients with excellent support from backup, and provide medical consultation to other departments. The Department of Infectious Diseases is based in Jönköping and is the county's knowledge center for infectious diseases. The clinic consists of a care unit with 24 beds, a specialist outpatient clinic, and extensive consultation and advisory services provided in Eksjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. Currently, a pilot program in hospital-at-home care is also ongoing, where patients receive portions of their antibiotic treatment at home. The clinic is characterized by motivated staff who work in teams and collectively foster a positive collaborative climate.
