The Rehabilitation Unit at Östhammar Municipality consists of a total of 18 physical therapists and occupational therapists, two rehabilitation assistants and a unit manager. We work in areas such as special housing, ordinary housing for people with and without home care services, and within the LSS area in group homes, day activities and for users with personal assistance. We have operations throughout the municipality with base offices in Gimo and Östhammar. We have close collaboration between professions within our own unit, as well as with staff and managers within SOL and LSS, and with nurses and welfare officers.
The Rehabilitation Unit belongs to the same unit as the municipality's assistive devices operations and family support. Handling of housing adaptation and parking permit cases is also within the unit.
Our two base offices are located so that there are good conditions for commuting by express bus from Uppsala.

JOB DUTIES
One of our physical therapists is now going on parental leave, and we are therefore looking for a substitute physical therapist/physiotherapist for our operations.
The job duties include making assessments based on physiotherapy questions, establishing action and treatment plans, and carrying out, prescribing, delegating and following up measures. The work includes preventing and investigating fall incidents and testing and prescribing technical aids. Advising and instructing care staff is part of the job, as is writing certificates, for example when applying for housing adaptation.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed physical therapist/physiotherapist, preferably with experience from similar tasks within municipal health and medical care, but this is not required. Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and good navigation in digital systems is required. Good planning skills and a responsible and solution-oriented approach are required for this position.
We work in the journal system Viva.
We would like you to have good ability to make contacts and have a service-oriented approach. A driver's license is a requirement as we work with assignments and cases throughout the municipality.
