Magdalenagården is located at Mariatorget, where in recent years we have worked on competency development in our operations. The unit is star-marked and continues work with practice-based training as well as close leadership and team collaboration. The residence has 66 places, of which 24 places have a somatic focus and 42 places have a dementia focus.
What we offer
We are six care and service residences on Södermalm run by the city, and we collaborate to work as equitably as possible. There are good wellness opportunities. The department has active wellness initiatives, with a wellness allowance of 3000:-/year and the opportunity to purchase a very favorable annual pass to Stockholm's city swimming halls including gym. For the right person, there are good development opportunities within the district.
Your role
Become part of Magdalenagården where you, together with the whole team, contribute to improving the quality of life for our elderly. Together with the occupational therapist, you are responsible for activity and function assessments, individual training, functional assessments, and education and supervision of staff. You have a varied role where you structure your work according to the needs of the operations.
You will be part of the rehabilitation network that Södermalm has together with the medical responsible for rehabilitation, MAR. Collaboration takes place several times during the year where we exchange knowledge, share experiences and develop competency in various areas. You have an important role in our operations!
Your competence and experience
We are looking for you who:
• are a licensed physical therapist.
• have experience working in elder care.
• have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
We place great importance on your personal qualities.
You are confident, can handle occasional stress and have personal maturity. You should also be service-oriented and responsive to be able to meet staff, relatives and other people who enter the operations. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy sharing your own knowledge and experiences and are open to learning from others.
You have empathy in your interactions with other people and have a genuine interest in working with people. Your approach is characterized by very good conduct. We will place great importance on personal qualities. If you are also a person with a sparkle in your eye and want to have fun at work, then you will fit in with us!

In order to work with the elderly and people with disabilities in their homes at Stockholm City, you must show an extract from the criminal record register. The extract should not be older than 6 months from the date of issue.
