Your Future Role Reitan Convenience is on a clear transformation journey where IT and digital solutions are critical to competitiveness. We are now seeking a Lead Technical Architect who wants to take overall responsibility for architecture in close collaboration with development, product, and business teams. The role is both strategic and operational. You'll work closely with development teams, translate business needs into technical decisions, and ensure that the architecture is sustainable, scalable, and prepared for future needs in Sweden and across the broader group. As lead technical architect, you'll also have significant business impact and the freedom to realize your ideas and drive your agenda forward in the way you believe is best. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Owning overall architecture responsibility and the changes needed to optimize architecture based on business needs. Guiding and directing internal development teams to work in accordance with overall architecture. Serving as an architectural advisor to other IT and business functions. Collaborating with other parts of the client's organization. Initiating and prioritizing new development initiatives, planning and estimating resources, and supporting projects to execute these initiatives. Who You Are We're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation who thrives at the intersection of business and technology. You can work abstractly with principles and vision – but also concretely with developers, backlogs, and technical decisions. More specifically, we're looking for someone who: Has deep technical expertise: you can lead, communicate with, and support developers in their work. Is excellent at and enjoys talking with people, and understands that this is a large and important part of your role as a lead technical architect. Is unpretentious and collaboration-oriented, with the ability to see what will be needed in the future before the concrete need is expressed. Has business understanding and can translate this in an adaptable way to technology. Has post-secondary education in areas such as systems development, computer technology, or equivalent. In addition to the above requirements, we'd like it if you: Have experience working with Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud platforms, with cloud native and microservices. Have documented experience designing and implementing architecture based on business needs. Have experience working in retail and/or an understanding of the industry at large. Describe yourself as structured, business-focused, and a problem solver. Formal title is less important than your actual ability. The role is also a good fit for you if you're an "up-and-coming" tech lead or senior developer with ambition to take on greater architectural responsibility.
