We are now seeking a substitute teacher in Swedish and English!
As a teacher at Alléskolan (https://www.atvidaberg.se/forskola-skola-och-utbildning/grundskola/alleskolan), you actively participate in the school's work to increase goal achievement, evidence-based teaching, and initiatives that promote school attendance. We have high expectations for students' abilities and are driven by creating good academic results.
Your responsibilities
Within the scope of your assignment, you plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in English and Swedish for grades 7-9 together with colleagues. You adapt your teaching to the student group so that all students, regardless of their background, feel that they can and want to participate. We see that you create an accessible learning environment that meets all students' different needs and abilities from a relational perspective.
Together with a colleague, you have a class teacher role in grade 9, where contact and meetings with guardians are part of the assignment. You also participate in the school's development work around goal achievement and attendance initiatives.
About you
We are primarily seeking someone who is a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach Swedish and English. Previous teaching experience in these subjects is a merit.
As a person, you are confident, stable, and have the ability to distinguish between the personal and professional. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively and meet set deadlines. You adapt your approach according to the situation and are pedagogically skilled at conveying messages, with a deep understanding of students' different ways of learning. We see that you are outgoing and socially active in your professional role and have an easy time creating and maintaining relationships.
This position is a substitute role due to parental leave, during the spring term 2027. Start date 1/7. Scope approximately 75%.
