JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a teacher, you will have a principal as your immediate supervisor and you will be part of a work team with your colleagues led by a team leader. In your role as a teacher, you have responsibility for: • planning, implementing, following up on, and evaluating instruction based on the school's governing documents. • participating in collaborative learning to enable joint planning & assessment. • participating in individual and collective school/professional development based on student needs. • writing evaluations, individual development plans, assessments, and other documentation. • actively contributing in work teams, subject teams, teams, working groups, staff meetings, and workplace meetings. • participating in systematic quality work and development work based on national and local governing documents. • preventing, investigating, and managing problematic absences and promoting regular attendance. • adapting learning environments and supporting students with guidance and stimulation, extra accommodations, and contributing to investigations. • participating in values-based work to promote safety and study focus and prevent bullying and harassment. • handling school-social and unplanned student incidents during, for example, recess supervision and pedagogical lunches. • contributing to the development of the school's digital work and integration of digital tools in instruction. Position Description: In your role as a teacher, you are expected to work based on a shared understanding of the operation's mission, where children's and young people's best interests, needs, and wishes are at the center. Your contribution in daily meetings and dialogue with students, guardians, and colleagues is crucial to achieving the goal of equitable education and instruction of high quality where all children and students can succeed. You are expected to take overall responsibility for the results achieved, both academically and socially, and contribute to safe and inclusive education and instruction. With a positive and solution-oriented approach, you work from a holistic perspective on the child's and student's development and learning. Ultimately, the assignment is about ensuring that each child and student receives the best possible education and instruction, based on both national and local governing documents and the school's knowledge and values-based mission. You become part of an environment with competent employees and engaged school leaders who together work to create successful accessible learning environments. Instruction for this position is scheduled for the following weekdays: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have completed teacher training with certification and licensure, which is a basic requirement for the position. You have good knowledge of the Education Act, the curriculum (Lgr22), and other relevant governing documents and can apply these in your daily work. Experience with instruction and work using language and knowledge-developing methods is a merit, especially if you have experience working with students in need of support or in multilingual and multicultural environments. You are comfortable using and integrating digital tools in instruction and have experience with digital platforms for pedagogical work and documentation. Additionally, you have the ability to create safe and inclusive learning environments that promote study focus, well-being, and student health. Employment Type: Permanent position. Duration: Start date: 2026-10-01. Start on the employment date or by agreement. 6 months probationary period.
