We are now seeking a mathematics teacher to work alongside our regular teaching staff providing additional support in mathematics for our students in grades 7-9 at Entréskolan Eskilstuna. The position is part-time based on personal preferences. The position can be expanded to a full-time mathematics position during the regular teacher's parental leave starting spring term 2027. Entréskolan is an aesthetics-based primary school for grades 4-9 with creative learning based on aesthetic forms of expression in subject-integrated work areas. Entréskolan operates in Västerås, Stockholm, Eskilstuna, and Örebro. We offer four aesthetic specializations: theater, music, dance, and art. Entréskolan is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach across different work areas. We work to ensure that each student is engaged and active in their learning. We want our students to feel safe, seen, and respected at Entréskolan. As a teacher with us, you are an important part of that work. We are seeking someone with previous experience working with students at the upper secondary level. At Entréskolan, the school year is divided into subject-integrated work areas where teaching is planned collaboratively by teachers around a group of students. We appreciate that you have good IT skills as much of the work is conducted with digital tools. All students in class have access to their own computer used at school.
