In this role, you'll become a trusted and inspiring key person for our first-grade students – both during the school day and in after-school care. Together with your team, you'll build a coherent learning environment where play, exploration, and instruction blend seamlessly. You'll have significant trust and pedagogical freedom to develop after-school activities with cooperative learning as the focus. You are a certified teacher with a focus on after-school care (or in the final stages of your education with graduation within reach). It's advantageous if you hold certification in physical education, as you'll have some teaching responsibilities during school hours. You are well-grounded in primary school's mission and governing documents and see the value in combining theory with practical and experience-based learning. You have a strong relationship-building approach and meet each student with warmth, clarity, and high expectations. You have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, and feel comfortable using digital tools as pedagogical support. Previous experience working in first grade or after-school care is advantageous – but your dedication, drive, and personal suitability weigh most heavily.
