We are now looking for a certified teacher in after-school programs who, together with colleagues, wants to shape an accessible learning environment within adapted primary school!
As a teacher at Alléskolan (https://www.atvidaberg.se/forskola-skola-och-utbildning/grundskola/alleskolan), you actively participate in the school's work to increase goal achievement, evidence-based teaching, and initiatives that promote school attendance. We have high expectations for our students' abilities and are driven by creating good academic results. Adapted primary school moved into new facilities at the start of this school year, so one of this year's goals is for students to become familiar with the new facilities and surroundings and feel secure there.
Your responsibilities
Within the scope of your assignment, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating after-school program activities and the school's recess activities. You work from a relational perspective and create engaging learning situations adapted to each student's needs and conditions. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to the school's overall work to increase academic results, improve school attendance, and support students in the new adapted primary school facilities.
During school hours, you work as a teacher in the after-school program in class, manage recess activities, and actively contribute to a safe and inclusive school environment.
Through close collaboration with other school staff, you work toward a good learning and working environment for both students and employees. You also actively participate in the school's development work and help strengthen the program's quality and goal achievement.
About you
We are looking for you who are a certified teacher specializing in after-school programs. It is meritorious if you have previous experience working with adapted primary school.
As a person, you are confident, stable, and can distinguish between the personal and professional. You adapt your approach to the situation, adjust easily to change, and see opportunities in new circumstances. We particularly appreciate that you are driven to implement new working methods and see potential in new ideas and approaches. Furthermore, you are good at creating and maintaining relationships and thrive in social professional settings.
