Teacher in Road Engineering Employer: TeknikAkademin Norden AB Scope: Full-time / Part-time Location: On-site and remote in Sweden Start date: By agreement About the role TeknikAkademin Norden AB is seeking an experienced road engineer, road designer, or road technology specialist with solid practical and theoretical expertise in road infrastructure. The role covers areas such as road design, road planning, management and maintenance of road facilities, as well as inspection of bridges and other structures. Your responsibilities Conduct theoretical and practical training modules in road engineering Work with road design, road planning, and detailed design Teach knowledge in VGU, road signs, road information systems, and road markings Work with management and maintenance of road facilities Handle road maintenance and winter road maintenance Contribute to methodology for inspection of bridges and other structures Plan practical modules and conduct and follow up on examinations Contribute to the development and updating of course materials and training programs We are looking for someone who Has at least 3 years of experience in road design according to Trafikverket's requirements Has deep expertise in road construction, road design, or other relevant road technology areas Has practical and theoretical experience in road infrastructure Has knowledge of TDOK and TRVINFRA Has pedagogical competence or experience in training and coaching Has very good Swedish in speech and writing Has good knowledge of the Office suite We offer Competitive compensation Flexible setup with remote and on-site teaching A qualified and industry-relevant role Opportunity to combine your specialist expertise with training Contact: 📧 [email protected]
