We are now seeking a textiles and crafts teacher who during 2027 wants to be part of creating varied, enjoyable, and challenging instruction!
As a teacher at Alléskolan (https://www.atvidaberg.se/forskola-skola-och-utbildning/grundskola/alleskolan), you actively participate in the school's efforts to increase goal attainment, science-based instruction, and initiatives that promote school attendance. We have high expectations for students' abilities and are driven to create strong academic results.
Your Responsibilities
Within the scope of your assignment, you plan and deliver textiles and crafts instruction for grades 7-9 together with colleagues. You adapt instruction to the student group so that all students, regardless of their circumstances, feel they can and want to participate. We see you creating an accessible learning environment that meets all students' different needs and abilities from a relational perspective. You collaborate with others both internally and externally.
This position does not include a homeroom teacher role, but contact with guardians may be part of the assignment.
About You
We are primarily seeking someone who holds teacher certification and is qualified to teach textiles and crafts. It is an asset if you have previous teaching experience, preferably at the upper secondary level.
As a person, you are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. You have a good understanding of how different people acquire knowledge and have the ability to adapt your message and communication based on the recipient's circumstances. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively while setting and meeting your deadlines. We would appreciate if you are outgoing and socially active in professional contexts, with a strong ability to both establish and maintain relationships.
