You will be an important part of this work. Your responsibilities As a Swedish language teacher at Vikbolandsskolan, you will work in a team focused on grade 8 and serve as a mentor in one of the classes together with two other mentors. You will teach Swedish in grades 8 and 9, across a total of 4 classes. You will plan, implement, and follow up on instruction based on our curriculum documents. You will participate in grade-level and subject teams, collaborate with parents/guardians, and contribute to collegial learning at the school. We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher with credentials in Swedish to teach grades 7-9. We would appreciate it if you have experience in pedagogical work and a broad subject background. You are well versed in the school's curriculum documents and have strong skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you are a confident and engaged teacher with broad pedagogical expertise and a relational approach. Further, you enjoy working closely with students of different ages and understand the value of creating structure, participation, and security—both in the classroom and in collegial collaboration. You communicate clearly, adapt your language to your audience, and ensure that all students understand. You are experienced in meeting students who present challenges and have the ability to build strong relationships, support and coach students, and design instruction based on their different needs and circumstances. You persevere when facing setbacks and work purposefully despite obstacles. You adapt easily to new situations and ways of working and see change as a natural part of school development. You are a team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and experience and actively contributes to good collegial collaboration. We look forward to your application!
