This part-time position involves planning, documenting, and delivering instruction in classroom and distance settings, including remote teaching when applicable. All work follows current regulations and guidelines according to the school's governing documents, such as the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum, agreements with our stakeholders, and our internal guidelines, routines, and policies. Administrative tasks related to the position, such as preparation and follow-up work, are included.
As a teacher in adult education, your task is to lead and instruct students. Therefore, it is important that you are engaged and have pedagogical aptitude, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire our students. You are passionate about working closely with students in their learning and personal development by being available and supporting them in their studies. You should be positive about collaborative pedagogical work, take own initiatives, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. As we are a smaller school organization, it is valuable if you can see opportunities, want to be involved in developing our operations, and enjoy working in a dynamic and goal-oriented environment where everyone works toward the same goals and helps each other. The position requires physical presence at the school's premises.
Experience with adult education, multicultural work, validation, language development approaches, and digital learning is advantageous. We appreciate candidates who are organized, flexible, and solution-focused. You must have a teaching degree and teacher certification with authorization to teach Swedish, Swedish as a Second Language, and Social Studies at the upper secondary level. We would like you to have previous teaching experience in upper secondary school and/or adult education. Experience with Alvis, Itslearning, and Sharepoint is a plus.
