About the Position
We are now seeking a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach Swedish and English to grades 7–9. The position also includes mentorship responsibilities.
Hellidsskolan is the municipality's only upper secondary school with approximately 460 students and about 70 staff members. The school currently has five to seven parallel classes in each grade level, maintains specialized teaching groups, and offers an adapted primary education program. The staff works with a strong focus on the school's core values of health, knowledge, and safety. The school's personnel are organized into four work teams and have a complete student support team. You will have the opportunity to work with students in close collaboration with other skilled, qualified, and certified educators.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the prescribed education for this position.
As a person, you have a strong ability to build relationships and maintain a positive outlook. You work in a structured manner while remaining flexible when needed.
You already work according to the expanded teacher role, identifying opportunities and potential to improve students' learning environment. You are committed to giving all students good opportunities to succeed—it is important to you that your students thrive. You have the ability to create genuinely strong relationships with students, making yourself the most important and powerful tool for creating safety and a productive learning environment both inside and outside the classroom.
Personal suitability will be weighted heavily.
