JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Fagrabäckskolan is a grades 7-9 school located centrally in the eastern part of Växjö, with approximately 350 students and a total of 15 classes by fall 2026. We are a school that welcomes students from several of the city's residential areas and outer areas on the eastern side of Växjö, and in the classroom, much of the world comes together, as we have multiple nationalities represented at Fagrabäck. The school operates based on shared concepts of future focus, active learning, upper secondary competence, respect, and responsibility, which we want to permeate our operations. In our systematic quality work, we analyze at individual, team, and unit levels to jointly develop the school's instruction and continuously work toward increased well-being and safety at school. We are now looking for a Spanish teacher who will work with a colleague in grades 6-9. The assignment includes teaching, possible mentoring, and active participation in the team's development areas. You will be part of one of the school's seven teams where you, together with colleagues, plan, implement, and evaluate the team's activities in relation to the school's and subject's objectives. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you as a certified teacher with authorization to teach Spanish. You have a conscious perspective on your role as an educator and are a clear leader who works structurally based on current regulatory documents and with a positive approach in collaboration with your colleagues. You have the ability to create a good work climate with engagement, curiosity, and security in the group and have good knowledge to meet students' different needs based on their different conditions. You are a person who can and wants to collaborate with others so that all students develop, and you have good collaboration with students and guardians. You are familiar with and have experience in assessment, educational investigations, and action plans as support for systematically following up on interventions. You are also positive toward the development of the organization and yourself and have documented experience working with different students. As a teacher at Fagrabäckskolan, you are expected to be involved in collegial learning, and it is important that you enjoy collaborating with others, both within the subject and with other colleagues in the team.
