In fall 2025, an MFF Academy started with a focus on offering students high-quality football training during school hours, something that benefits both football development and school results. In fall 2026, Kastanjeskolan's Food Academy started, where our students get to be creative with cooking and baking, and learn about the entire cycle, from farm to table. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a teacher at Kastanjeskolan, you are a positive role model for our students and a supportive leader in the classroom. Your leadership maintains a well-functioning environment that creates creative and safe learning spaces where students want to be. You have great commitment to your subjects and students' development and well-being. You are responsible for quality education and always prioritize the best interests of the child. You have good pedagogical ability and positive energy where you skillfully adapt your approach and communication to the recipient. Using various strategies, you promote students' participation, influence, and motivation. You are skilled at building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, and contribute to work both within grade teams and subject teams. Most teachers serve as mentors for a student group with support from the team's socio-pedagogue. Each team also has its own special education teacher. You are well familiar with the school's policy documents and work with a varied approach adapted to students' needs. Together with us, you want to create hope and optimism about the future for our students. The school is organized into three grade-level teams where each team has its own special education teacher as well as a socio-pedagogue. The team supports each other and creates security by covering for each other to some extent during absences, so students don't have to meet unfamiliar people. You are part of a language teacher team and teach Spanish in all grades, including grade 6, whose language instruction is conducted at Kastanjeskolan. QUALIFICATIONS To be considered for the position, you must be a certified teacher with a degree in Spanish for grades 7-9. Additional certification in other subjects or age groups is an asset. Experience teaching at the secondary level is an asset. We are looking for calm, secure, and warm role models who build strong relationships with all students. You are attentive and have a good ability to adapt your leadership to different situations and needs. You have a solution-focused approach and can handle challenges with a positive attitude. You are collaborative and enjoy working in teams, but also have the ability to work independently. You are a natural leader and can create a safe and structured learning environment. You are engaged and passionate about developing both yourself and your students. You are fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing. Employment form: Permanent employment.
