About the position
Language Center is seeking an engaged and inspiring teacher of Meänkieli for Kävlinge's primary schools! As a native language teacher, you will plan, teach, and assess students according to the curriculum in the mother tongue subject. We are looking for someone who can work with language development according to the latest research and conduct modern and creative instruction to reach every student. You adapt your teaching based on all students at their level, always with the student's best interest in focus. In your work, you demonstrate strong leadership and use alternative teaching tools. Good relationships with students and guardians are important to you, and through dialogue and mutual respect, you serve as a bridge between home and school.
Are you the one we're looking for?
We are primarily looking for you if you are a certified native language teacher with at least 30 credits in the native language. It is a merit if you have previously worked as a native language teacher. The position requires that you have good IT skills and can integrate digital technology in your teaching. In your work, you are positive and engaged, have good collaboration skills, and feel comfortable communicating both verbally and in writing. Distance teaching is something you have experience with and manage well with support from school staff. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Language Center in Kävlinge consists of the Native Language unit and the School Introduction unit, where assessment of newly arrived students is conducted.

In Kävlinge Municipality, there are eleven primary schools that we work together with. At Language Center, we work with both native language instruction and study guidance as needed.
Language Center is located at Brynstenen, which is in Löddeköpinge.
