About the School Praktiska Gymnasiet Täby offers students a concept that alternates between theoretical learning and practical exercises both at school and in workplace settings. At Praktiska, we set high standards to create the best conditions for meaningful and engaging education. Our teaching is characterized by flexibility, accessibility, and hands-on learning. Our program offerings include: FS, HT, HV, and EE programs. The school currently has approximately 220 students and about 20 staff members. We offer apprenticeship training from year 2. For more information, visit our website. Your Role This is a full-time temporary position starting immediately. You will teach and mentor our students in the HT program and work as part of a team of vocational teachers. We see you as an important and driving force who, with students at the center and in collaboration with colleagues, will help develop both the program and the subject. In addition to subject-specific tasks, you will, like other teachers at the school, serve as a mentor and coach students both socially and academically throughout their three years at Praktiska Gymnasiet. We communicate primarily through Schoolsoft and work in a Google environment using shared digital documents, calendars, and planning tools. Your Profile We are primarily seeking a certified vocational teacher. We place great importance on personal qualities. If you lack teaching certification, you are also welcome to apply. In that case, you and the school's principal will jointly develop a plan for obtaining your certification through the shortest path. The role includes contact with local businesses, as a significant portion of student study time consists of workplace-based learning (APL), making good communication with employers a valuable asset.
