About the Job Your primary task is to work together with colleagues in work teams to challenge students in their learning and support the student in their knowledge development toward set goals. The after-school program should complement school and compensate for the home. In addition to planning, implementing and evaluating instruction, you will work together with colleagues in work teams to develop the school based on prioritized development areas and the unit's improvement work. This year we are working with EMPATHY across all subjects at the school and at the unit's 3 after-school departments. We also focus on reading development and student influence. Who Are You? You are a certified teacher in after-school programs with the authorization to teach your subjects at school and in the after-school program. Your ability to create good, trusting relationships with students is a prerequisite. All our students should have meaningful trusting relationships with adults. We are looking for you who are well familiar with the purpose, competencies and knowledge requirements of the subjects and are well versed in the after-school program's epistemology and values-based mission. You have good knowledge and competence in digital and formative learning processes. You have the ability to motivate and create situations that contribute to meaningful learning and learning environments characterized by inclusion, variation and interactivity. You have the ability to see and meet each student and build on what works, as well as having broad guidance and stimulation in teaching. Your learning in collaborative learning is a given. You reflect on and analyze your own teaching as a natural part of your practice. You have great commitment to your teaching in the after-school program and take great responsibility in the work. You are interested in developing instruction to be more meaningful, understandable and manageable so that we achieve the effect that students become more curious and want to learn more. You have very good ability to create good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. You are communicative and creative. For the position, the monthly salary is between 36 000 and 40 000 kr, depending on experience, education and competence.
