Description We are now seeking an after-school teacher at Klarebergsskolan who wants to be part of developing our after-school activities together with other educators. Klarebergsskolan F-9 is a school with approximately 1100 students. F-3 is located in its own building with approximately 400 wonderful students. The school is relatively new with fresh facilities and is located adjacent to the area's activity park. The school is divided into four work teams/tracks. Each work team includes a preschool class, grade 1, grade 2, and grade 3 with corresponding after-school programs. Each after-school team has five staff members. Our goal is for Klarebergsskolan to be an equitable school where students, staff, and guardians feel comfortable and share responsibility for creating good conditions for learning. Preschool teachers, after-school teachers, and teachers work together, and it is important to us that everyone feels involved and contributes to developing the activities. The school has a student welfare team that will support you in your work in various ways. Job Responsibilities As an after-school teacher, you will take greater responsibility within your track for planning, implementing, following up, and evaluating after-school activities according to applicable guidelines and the program's goals. You will have support from your colleagues in the track. It is important to us that we do this together! In the school's shared calendar, meetings and activities are scheduled where it is clear when the after-school programs plan according to the program's goals. All tracks have a team leader who meets weekly with the assistant principal to plan overarching issues and ensure equity for all students at the school and after-school program. Qualifications We seek you as a certified after-school teacher. Good digital competence is a requirement for handling information, documentation, and is a natural part of teaching. As a person, you are calm and stable and have the ability to create a safe environment for all students. We also see that you are curious and want to develop in your work. Your creativity is contagious to others and creates engagement and motivates learning. You gladly contribute ideas and new ways of thinking to move the program forward. You also have a good ability to build strong relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. If you are newly graduated, you will be included in the Primary School Administration's Teacher Academy introduction program for newly graduated teachers. The introduction gives you as a newly graduated teacher a network with other newly graduated teachers and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.
