JOB DUTIES
Hammarlunden School F-6 is a school with approximately 660 students. We are now seeking two afterschool teachers who want to help develop our activities.
As an afterschool teacher, you work within the afterschool program and the full school day. Here you get the opportunity to contribute together with other staff to students' development and learning, while also helping to develop the afterschool program's activities.
Your main task is to work together with other staff in the afterschool program to plan, implement, and develop afterschool activities based on our governing documents. Your task during the school day may vary depending on your competence and students' needs. You will be part of a teaching team where you are expected to actively contribute with a solution- and results-oriented approach with students' needs at the center.
In one of the two positions, responsibility for Recess Activities may also be included. The assignment involves planning, coordinating, and developing recess activities that contribute to a safe, active, and inclusive school environment for our students.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has a pedagogical degree with a focus on afterschool education. We assume that you stand firmly in the school's values and can implement the curriculum with high quality. You should be a clear and positive leader in the children's group with the ability to create a good and accessible learning environment. You have an exploratory approach to work and work toward inclusive solutions with the goal of students being involved in their own learning.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability and your work should be characterized by curiosity, warmth, and conscious choices. We want you in your application and at a possible interview to describe your abilities in meeting with students, in leadership, and in collaboration with others.
From experience, we know that the ability to analyze and reflect on your own work and the program's content is also crucial to quality. It is therefore important that you can reflect on the program's content and your implementation. We expect you to have good collaboration skills, willingness, and ability to participate in the afterschool program's and school's systematic quality work.
Experience from work in preschool class, afterschool programs, and primary school is meriting.
Selection is ongoing and interviews may take place continuously during the application period. If you become a candidate for the position, you must be able to present a valid teacher license and an extract from the criminal record register.
