Bringåsens seeks teacher in after-school program Bringåsens School, grades F-6 with approximately 60 students, is part of the Lit school district which also includes Treälvsskolan F-9 and Häggenås F-6. Together we can make a difference every day! Your new job As a teacher in the after-school program, you will support students' development and learning. You will assist students throughout the day and thereby gain a comprehensive understanding of how the student and group function both during school hours and during after-school activities. Your responsibilities include conducting instruction at the after-school program. You will be responsible for planning, implementation, documentation and follow-ups. Collaboration with the rest of the team and families is important to ensure that students have the opportunity to develop to their full potential. The need to adapt activities to meet all students' different needs is an important and significant assignment. This position may also include teaching in a school subject depending on qualifications and competence. Your competence Requirements Certified after-school pedagogue/teacher in after-school programs. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Meritorious You have good knowledge of the after-school program's governing documents and can implement them in daily work. You have a strong interest in developing instruction and supporting students in their learning process. Your view of students aligns with the curriculum's value-based intentions. You have a strong interest in pedagogical challenges and dare to challenge yourself and your colleagues to think about development. It is meritorious if you have previous professional experience. It is meritorious to have experience working with students with special needs or students in adapted primary school, as collaboration with the school's other activities occurs regularly. We are looking for you! You have empathetic ability to understand students' needs and meet them where they are, and the ability to listen, encourage, stimulate and challenge them to develop further. You are flexible and can find new solutions. You are self-motivated and confident in your pedagogical leadership and have a good ability to build relationships with both students and colleagues.
