Welcome to us! Your work tasks Your main task is to work together with other staff at the after-school care facility to ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with Lgr 22. You are responsible for ensuring that the program is varied in terms of both guided and free activities, and that various materials and learning environments are offered and used to stimulate students' desire to play and learn. You thus have primary responsibility for ensuring that teaching in after-school care is goal-oriented. You work to promote students' social development and at the same time work practically to ensure that students reach the knowledge goals; you see this as a natural part of daily operations. Your responsibilities include planning and leading recess activities for students from preschool class through grade 6, as well as working as a resource in the classroom. You are part of the school's work team. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is certified or awaiting certification as a teacher in after-school care/after-school educator. It is a merit if you have experience working in after-school care and in F-6 schools, and if you have good experience working with digital tools. Experience with safety work and recess activities is also valued. You are well versed in the school's and after-school care facility's governing documents and mission. Your view of children is characterized by respect and a belief that all children can and want to develop. You have high expectations for students and it is important to you to keep students motivated and to work so that they enjoy school and after-school care.
