The Education Administration is responsible for, among other things, preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school. The responsibility also includes student health, mother tongue instruction, school transportation, and school meals. The Workplace We are now seeking a teacher in after-school programs for Smygeskolan. In the countryside just outside Trelleborg are our facilities Smygeskolan, Klagstorps School, Smygehamn Preschool, and Klagstorps Preschool. The area is led by a rector together with two assistant rectors and an administrative manager. We have high goal achievement with a 1-16-year perspective, where children's and students' development is the focus. Smygeskolan is located in the village of Smygehamn just east of Smygehuk, Sweden's southernmost point. The school is a grades F-6 school with an attached after-school program. Approximately 220 students attend the school. The school actively works to develop each student according to their needs and abilities. Please watch the film about our rector area: Smyge/Klagstorp – Trelleborg Municipality Responsibilities As a teacher in the after-school program, you are responsible together with your colleagues for planning, implementing, following up, and developing the after-school program's teaching and activities. You plan and implement pedagogical activities both indoors and outdoors and work to create a safe, active, and meaningful after-school experience for students. The work includes activities during school hours, before and after school, and during holidays. Together with skilled, experienced educators in the teams and in close collaboration with the rector, you all contribute to learning and thus the development of pedagogical work to meet the needs of all our students. In addition to knowledge in various school subjects, students during the whole school day should also have opportunities to develop self-esteem, identity, interaction, and various social skills. The after-school program's activities play a major role in this context, and the goal is a meaningful after-school experience for all students. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher in after-school programs. To succeed in the assignment, you have good pedagogical ability and create a safe, inclusive, and developmental learning environment. You plan, implement, and follow up on teaching and activities based on students' needs, interests, and conditions, and promote their learning and social development. You build and maintain good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and collaborate well with others. Furthermore, you work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your assignment, and actively contribute to the development of activities through a creative, flexible, and solution-oriented approach.
