JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You work as an English teacher and in another subject for which you are certified. Teaching takes place in grades 7-9. As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating instruction in the classes you teach. You work closely with your colleagues in your subjects, within your work team, and with other educators in various forums, school leadership, and other staff at the school. This also includes mentorship where you are responsible for a group of students. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in English and another subject up to grade 9. You have well-documented experience working pedagogically with students. You have a conscious pedagogical approach where student participation and responsibility are a given. It is important that you feel secure in your professional role, are clear with students, parents, and colleagues, have a positive demeanor, are easy to collaborate with, and have strong relational competence. A language and knowledge development approach should characterize your teaching. Employment Type: Permanent position.
