Smedbyskolan is now seeking a leisure time pedagogue for a permanent position with start date according to agreement, at the latest November 2, 2026. Welcome to us! 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as leisure time pedagogue, you will be responsible together with your colleagues for planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational activities at the leisure center based on current governing documents and the school's quality work. You create meaningful recess activities that promote enjoyment of movement for students in grades F-6, take the lead during the leisure center's traditional highlights, and actively contribute to the school's work for continuity and whole-day learning. You work in and will be part of a work team at one of the three leisure departments we have at Smedbyskolan. During school hours, you work with classes/students as a resource-strengthening pedagogue and then work in a team together with teachers. By offering safe and stimulating learning environments, you encourage curiosity, interaction, and learning through play. You collaborate closely with other educators to create a whole that benefits each student's development, build good relationships with guardians, and participate in development projects that strengthen the entire operation. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher in leisure time education/leisure time pedagogue. By law, an extract from the Police's criminal records for work in school or preschool is required before employment. As a person, you are a confident and engaged team player with good knowledge of governing documents. You are an initiator who is passionate about developing recess activities and the outdoor environment into a safe and active place and creating meaningful leisure time for our children at the leisure center. You have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and a strong ability to balance structure with creativity. Furthermore, you are flexible, solution-oriented, and comfortable leading both large groups and individual students. You see diversity as a strength and are happy to contribute to collegial learning.
