Skarpåkersskolan is centrally located in Kramfors and will have approximately 290 students during the 2026/2027 school year, of which about 230 are enrolled in the after-school care program. We maintain close collaboration between school and after-school care to create a safe, cohesive, and developmental learning environment for our students. We have good well-being among students and a well-functioning student health program where the entire school staff works together to promote students' learning, health, and well-being. We are now seeking an engaged and relationship-building teacher for the preschool class. WORK TASKS As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction based on the curriculum objectives and students' different conditions. You create a learning environment where curiosity, joy, safety, and participation are at the center, and where each student is given the opportunity to develop according to their abilities. Through close collaboration with colleagues, student health services, and guardians, you contribute to creating the best conditions for student learning and well-being. As a teacher at Skarpåkersskolan, you also participate in our ongoing development work, where we work with support from the Swedish National Agency for Education's targeted initiatives. We focus on accessible and evidence-based learning environments, collegial learning through SKUA and mathematics networks, and strong preventive and promotional student health work, where you with your pedagogical expertise contribute to development. During the coming school year, we will also actively prepare for the transition to a 10-year primary school. Together we develop our activities and design the learning environments of the future to create the best possible conditions for student learning, development, and safety. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone who holds teacher certification and is qualified to teach in preschool class. You have good digital skills and the ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues in work teams. You have an inclusive approach and a good ability to identify and meet students' different needs. In collaboration with colleagues and student health services, you work to create the best conditions for each student's learning and development. As a leader, you are clear, trustworthy, and relationship-building. You create structure, study focus, and a positive learning environment both inside and outside the classroom. We value that you build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are well familiar with the school's governing documents and keep yourself updated on current research in the education field. Furthermore, you have experience documenting, following up, analyzing, and developing activities within the framework of systematic quality work. Type of employment: Permanent position. Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-11-16. This is a substitute/vacation replacement position.
