About the position We are seeking a certified teacher or special education teacher to instruct elementary school students. The position is primarily focused on middle grades, but certification and experience from lower and/or upper grades is also highly valuable. You will work closely with a smaller number of students and have the opportunity to create teaching that is clear, structured, and adapted to each student's circumstances. You need to be comfortable planning and delivering instruction in a flexible manner while maintaining the school's educational mission and students' right to instruction. This position is ideal for you if you enjoy working closely with students and see the value in sometimes creating different conditions for learning than what regular instruction can offer. You will collaborate closely with the school's educators and student support services. We believe in finding solutions together and in the idea that teaching sometimes needs to look different for different students.
