We are seeking an engaged and creative teacher who wants to teach Art and Textile Craft at the intermediate level. Work Tasks
As an art and craft teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction in grades 3-6. You work based on the curriculum objectives and create instruction that stimulates students' creativity, problem-solving skills, and desire to learn.
The assignment also includes:
Assessing and documenting students' learning development.
Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborating with colleagues, student support services, and guardians.
Contributing to the school's collaborative development work.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
Are a certified teacher with authorization to teach art and/or craft.
If certification is lacking, other education may also be considered for employment under the Education Act
Have a good ability to build positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
Are confident, structured, and clear in your leadership.
Have a creative approach and can adapt instruction to students' different needs.
Share the school's values and see collaboration as a natural part of the assignment.
It is advantageous if you have experience teaching at the primary and intermediate levels

More About the Position
Permanent employment. Scope: Part-time 80%
Start date: January 2027
Certificate of no criminal record is required for employment in schools, and a check will be made with the Teachers' Professional Responsibility Board (LAN) before employment.
