We are now seeking an engaged and competent teacher with certification for grades 4–6 and Swedish as a Second Language for a temporary position covering a colleague's parental leave. At Guldkroksskolan F-6, you will have the opportunity to work in a development-oriented environment where student learning, safety, and development are at the center. As a teacher in grades 4–6, you are responsible for instruction with a focus on Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language. You will be an important part of the school's work to create an accessible, inclusive, and language- and knowledge-developing learning environment where all students are given the opportunity to succeed. Job Responsibilities As a teacher in grades 4–6, you will, among other things: plan, implement, and evaluate instruction based on the curriculum's goals, teach Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language, work on language and knowledge development to strengthen student learning, follow and support students' academic and social development, adapt instruction based on students' different needs and circumstances, create structure, safety, and order in the classroom, actively work with students' reading, writing, and language development, use multilingualism and students' linguistic experiences as a resource in instruction, work closely with colleagues and other professionals to create an accessible learning environment, contribute to the school's systematic quality work and continued pedagogical development. You will be part of a team where collegial learning, collaboration, and shared responsibility for student success are a natural part of daily work. Qualifications We are looking for you who: are a certified teacher with authorization to teach grades 4–6, have certification in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language, have good knowledge of language- and knowledge-developing teaching methods, have the ability to adapt and lead instruction based on students' different needs and circumstances, have good knowledge of assessment, documentation, and systematic quality work. Experience with instruction in multilingual learning environments is a plus. In accordance with national regulations regarding Swedish as a Second Language, you need to have competence to meet students with needs for second language pedagogy. You also need to be able to contribute to developing instruction so that all students are given the best possible conditions to reach their goals. Who Are You?
