Olympicaskolan in Hedemora is looking for you to become part of our wonderful and committed team. We are seeking a certified teacher with qualifications to teach grades 4-6. This is a temporary position that could also lead to a lead teacher role, where you can drive and develop instruction at the school. About Olympicaskolan Olympica operates preschool and primary school programs at several locations in Dalarna. Olympicaskolan in Hedemora is a primary school with approximately 190 students in preschool through grade 6. About the Position As a teacher, you are a good leader with a clear pedagogical leadership style that radiates safety and security. You will be the class teacher for grade 4, and will be part of and develop the grades 4-6 team. Teaching may occur across multiple classes. Your primary responsibility as a teacher is to be accountable for student learning and development through instruction, guidance, and support. You use methods, content, and interaction based on each student's abilities and circumstances so that students progress as far as possible in their knowledge development. Together we have developed routines and rules that provide both students and educators with a sense of security. At the school we use lesson observations where you receive support through 10 dimensions of learning processes in instruction. You document, follow up, and evaluate your teaching.
