Description We are now seeking a teacher with certification in Swedish, mathematics, English, science, and social studies for instruction in grade 1 who would like to join Skogomeskolan! This position is a permanent full-time employment. Skogomeskolan is a newly built two-parallel F-6 school for approximately 300 students that was completed in fall 2019. The school has a profile with a focus on environment and sustainable development which permeates the entire operation. Skogomeskolan has its own gardens and is surrounded by beautiful nature. Since summer 2021, Skogomeskolan and Bärbyskolan belong to the same school area with a shared principal. Job Responsibilities As a teacher with us, you will work together with your colleagues to be responsible for planning and implementing pedagogical work as well as documenting it. You will design pedagogical activities so that each individual student's unique conditions and abilities are utilized and challenged. Collaborative learning is in focus in our operations and you should have interest and commitment to this. We also expect you to actively contribute to school development work. Since you are newly qualified, you will participate in the Basic Education Administration's Teacher Academy introduction program for newly qualified teachers. The introduction provides you as a newly qualified teacher with a network of other newly qualified teachers and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with certification in Swedish, mathematics, English, science, and social studies for instruction in grade 1. Additional subjects are meriting. It is also an advantage if you have previous professional experience. You have the ability to explain problems and information to different recipients and from different perspectives. You adapt easily and your working methods based on changed conditions and new information. You have the ability to communicate information and ideas, both verbally and in writing.
