About Mariekällskolan "We learn for life, together we succeed!" Mariekällskolan is a grades 4-9 school, centrally located in Södertälje Municipality and has high demand. Today we have approximately 550 students and 60 employees. We are a multicultural school and continuously work on how we can develop and improve our methods to meet all students' needs. Learning and safety are in focus and we at the school regularly work with result and attendance tracking of all students where you as a teacher have a central role. We have an active student wellness team at the school that supports both students and staff in daily work. Your work tasks You will be part of the grades 4-6 team at Mariekällskolan where you teach Swedish and Swedish as a second language at the middle school level. The position includes shared mentorship together with three colleagues. At the school we work on making teaching accessible where we start from a common lesson structure and with language and knowledge development methods (SOKA). Together with school management and engaged educators in both the team and the wellness and safety teams we collaborate for all students' safety and knowledge development and as a teacher with us you are prepared to test and reconsider your teaching. You actively participate in our collegial learning meetings (KLM) that are based on the organization's needs. Who are you? As a person you are structured, responsible, clear and confident in your leadership. You create and maintain good relationships with both colleagues and students and guardians, inspire and build on students' strengths in your teaching. You have a conviction that everyone can succeed with the right conditions and support. You have good knowledge of NPF and plan your teaching based on all students' needs and conditions. Requirements: - You are an authorized teacher with teacher certification for grades 4-6 in Swedish; we would like to see that you have multiple qualifications in your degree. - We would like to see that you have a few years of teaching experience or work in school but newly qualified candidates are also welcome to apply. - You are well familiar with the curriculum documents and the school as an organization.
