We are particularly interested in someone with equine experience or small animal experience. We already have good expertise in small animals, farm animals, and many areas of equine work. You will work approximately 2-5 days per week in clinical work/week or on-call duty (evenings and weekends) where all animal species may present. We are a good team that supports each other and answers questions. Today we have 13 employees of mixed ages. Nine veterinarians, one veterinary nurse, and three animal care workers. You enjoy working in a team, contribute to developing efficient and smart working methods, and want to be involved in maintaining our capacity and continuing to develop our customer base. We have good collaboration with surrounding districts, and if you need to consult with someone else on duty during evening/weekend/night work, there is always someone available. Since on-call duty is a natural part of our services, you need to be willing to work with and maintain expertise in all animal species we encounter. If you are applying to us, you find the variety that being a district veterinarian offers appealing, but beyond that there is also the opportunity to develop particularly within a special area of interest. We work continuously with competence development, and we see your development in your work as our best investment. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking you as a veterinarian who is independent and takes responsibility for your tasks. This while you find it easy to collaborate and see the value in good cooperation. We hope that you are thorough and organized. You are a person who can learn quickly and who has the courage and willingness to tackle challenges but can also ask for help when needed. With us, no two days are ever alike, so you should enjoy being part of an event-driven operation and be able to partially adapt to what the situation requires. As a veterinarian, you are driven and forward-thinking and like to think in new ways. You appreciate customer contact and enjoy keeping the customer in focus. In the role of veterinarian, we demonstrate good judgment through the ability to make correct priorities based on the situation's needs, and you care about doing a good job. We place great importance on personal suitability. Swedish veterinary license and category B driver's license are required. We have continuous selection and interviews, so please submit your application today. This position is a locum for approximately 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
