Main Responsibilities As a warehouse worker at our warehouse/logistics center in Jönköping, you ensure that groceries are delivered on time and in good condition to our stores across the country. Your daily tasks consist of order picking, where you pick pallets of everyday goods—everything from canned goods, fruit, pasta to yogurt and frozen vegetables depending on which department you work in. You'll have a pick truck and a headset with voice-guided picking (pick by voice) to assist you. Since we constantly strive to improve our service to stores, ensuring store shelves are never empty, it's important that you work with high efficiency and quality in your daily work. You'll be part of a large logistics flow with many players, and with different challenges, it's especially important that you meet time schedules, follow safety and order rules, and help other departments when needed. To thrive in the role of warehouse worker, you need good physical fitness and to take care of your health, as you'll be doing repetitive lifting. Therefore, it's important to us that you work in an ergonomically correct manner and appreciate staying active. As a person, it's important that you have good cooperation with your coworkers and contribute to good team spirit, regardless of different perspectives, cultures, backgrounds, and languages. At the same time, you need to be comfortable working independently in the warehouse, as you move over large areas with limited social contact while performing your tasks.
