About the Company
Hardford develops and manufactures cosmetic products. The business is characterized by innovation, quality, and close collaboration between different areas of expertise in product development and production.
The number of development projects has increased significantly, and the company currently handles around 230 projects per year. To give the chemists more time for product development, Hardford is now seeking a laboratory technician who can support the team in daily operations.
Your Responsibilities
As a laboratory technician, you will be an important part of the laboratory and work closely with an international team of nine chemists. You will assist with various tasks in ongoing projects and therefore have a varied role with good insight into the entire laboratory's work.
The role has an important function in the laboratory. You work closely with formulation and product development, but are not responsible for the execution. Your focus is to relieve the chemists by conducting tests, handling samples, documenting results, and ensuring that the practical work in the laboratory runs smoothly and efficiently.
You will conduct stability tests where you check, for example, pH, viscosity, and appearance. You document the results carefully and ensure that the information is correct and traceable.
The role also includes preparing, filling, labeling, and shipping samples. You help maintain order in the laboratory's materials and packaging and order new supplies when needed. You also work with cleaning, basic maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Work takes place in a dynamic environment where needs can change quickly. What you plan one day may need to be prioritized differently the next. You therefore need to be responsive to what the chemists and the business need, be able to take on new tasks, and quickly adapt when conditions change. Through your close collaboration with the team, you gain a broad understanding of the laboratory's work and contribute where your efforts are most needed.

Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is meticulous, practical, and interested in laboratory work. You do not need a university degree. What is most important is that you have the right attitude, want to learn the tasks, and enjoy a role where you help others.
You may have experience from a laboratory, production facility, or quality control role in food, chemistry, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or similar operations. Experience with sample handling, documentation, or working with pH meters, viscometers, and scales is a plus.
Since Hardford has an international team, you need to communicate well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. You also need to have good skills in Excel and Word.
As a person, you have energy and thrive in a daily routine with variety and rapid changes. You are responsive, take in information, and understand what needs to be done, whether the task is given verbally or by email. You can reprioritize, switch between different tasks, and maintain your meticulousness at the same time. You take responsibility for your work, are not afraid to ask questions, and contribute to smooth and efficient collaboration in the team.
