About the Position We are now looking for personal care assistants who want to work for our client in Roma on Gotland. The assignment involves a woman in her 70s who lives with her husband. The woman has Parkinson's disease, uses a wheelchair, and has communication difficulties. Assistive devices are available on-site. As a personal care assistant, you help contribute to a safe, meaningful, and functioning daily life. The work involves being a support in both daily routines and in activities that make life more enjoyable. Responsibilities As a personal care assistant, you provide support based on the individual's needs and wishes. Your responsibilities may include: Assistance with personal care Support with household chores Accompanying the client on activities, errands, or leisure interests Providing social and reassuring companionship in daily life Work takes place where the client is – at home or during activities outside the home. Work hours are primarily 17-22, but may occasionally be 9-17. These hours apply to both weekdays and weekends. We appreciate flexibility and would like you to be able to start immediately. We believe you are: Responsible, attentive, and confident in yourself Respectful of the individual's privacy and self-determination Someone who can work independently while also following established routines Adaptable and action-oriented Physically strong with good general fitness Requirements for the Position: You have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written You hold a driver's license and have access to a car or live nearby Ability to work flexible working hours Previous experience in personal care assistance or healthcare is a merit, but personal suitability and attitude are what matter most. Training with experienced staff will be provided. You will begin your employment with an hourly contract to get to know the client and work tasks better. If the personal chemistry between you and the client works, there are opportunities to move into a fixed schedule.
