The mill is located on the coast of Hälsingland, about nine kilometers south of Hudiksvall. Here you'll work in an operation where advanced production meets long-term thinking, development, and raw materials from sustainably managed forests. Your next challenge As a quality analyst, you'll play a vital role in understanding, monitoring, and developing the quality of our production. You work with large volumes of process and quality data to identify trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities – but your work doesn't stop at the numbers. Together with colleagues in operations, you translate results into concrete improvements that strengthen quality, stability, and customer satisfaction. The role gives you the opportunity to work both close to operations and with a development focus. You collaborate with the operations organization, the laboratory, and development functions, and you'll have touchpoints across the entire mill. With freedom within responsibility, you'll have the opportunity to influence how we manage quality monitoring and contribute to increased digitalization in this area. In the role, you will, among other things: analyze process and quality data and identify trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities conduct root cause investigations and develop recommendations for improved quality and stability develop reports, visualizations, and materials that make complex information clear and usable develop methods, processes, and workflows for quality analysis and quality monitoring collaborate with different parts of the mill to translate results and conclusions into concrete improvement measures. You'll also have the opportunity to propose changes to processes, work methods, and monitoring approaches, as well as coordinate quality monitoring activities. To succeed in the role We're looking for someone who thrives with systematic and thorough work on complex information. You find it easy to see connections and patterns and can draw well-founded conclusions from large datasets. At the same time, you understand that data value emerges only when results can be used. That's why you also need to be able to explain complex information clearly and translate it into recommendations for different parts of the business. You have a methodical and careful work approach and are comfortable structuring and project-managing your work. For the role, you need to have: academic education in, for example, statistics, mathematics, data science, systems science, industrial economics, or other relevant technical or natural science field experience with data analysis and processing of large datasets experience with statistical methods, reporting, and data visualization a structured work approach and strong problem-solving ability a B-class driving license. If you also have experience from the pulp and paper industry, quality management, or quality monitoring, that's a merit. Experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar tools for data analysis and visualization is also an advantage.
