Mattssons is an international supplier of fasteners and customer-specific components with operations in Sweden, Portugal, and China. From its headquarters and factory in Anderstorp, the company delivers solutions to industrial customers worldwide.
About the Role
As Quality & Environment Manager, you have overall responsibility for the company's quality, environmental, and workplace environment work. The role involves both strategic and operational work where you ensure that structures, processes, and methods support the operation's high requirements for quality, delivery reliability, and efficiency.
You work closely with the management team and play a central role in driving improvement initiatives in the organization. The role also includes personnel responsibility and close collaboration with functions such as production, procurement, engineering, and logistics.
Responsibilities
In the role, you are responsible for:
developing and maintaining the company's quality and environmental management systems
driving systematic improvement work in the organization
ensuring effective routines for incoming inspection and quality monitoring
managing quality documentation with customers and suppliers
planning and conducting internal and external audits
handling complaints and driving corrective actions
supporting the procurement organization in supplier development and supplier audits
analyzing quality data and reporting results to management
initiating and following up improvement measures in quality, productivity, and workplace environment
monitoring legal requirements related to environment and workplace environment
representing the company in dialogue with customers, suppliers, and authorities
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with experience from manufacturing industry who thrives in a role where you combine strategic work with operational engagement in the business.
You are structured, analytical, and have a natural ability to drive improvements together with the organization.
We would like you to have:
experience in quality and environmental work within industry
experience working with management systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, preferably also IATF/other requirement environments
good understanding of audits, deviation management, and process development
a communicative and coaching leadership style
