Folkuniversitetet's course activities offer courses and lectures in areas such as languages, economics, creative creation, writing, health, and sustainable development. A significant part of our activities consists of study circles and cultural events. We are now seeking a circle leader in ceramics. Is renewal and the desire to try new approaches important to you? Malmö: Primarily weekend instruction Helsingborg: Weekdays, evenings, and weekends Ystad: Weekdays, evenings, and weekends About the Position The course activities offer day and evening courses as well as longer educational programs and lectures in aesthetic areas, languages, and working life. As a ceramic instructor, you will lead courses for adult participants with varying levels of prior knowledge. You plan and conduct ceramic and creative instruction and contribute to an inspiring, safe, and creative learning environment. Responsibilities Lead Folkuniversitetet's scheduled ceramic courses Inspire and guide participants at different levels Teach techniques such as hand-building, wheel throwing, and glazing Ensure that instruction maintains high quality Contribute to a well-functioning and pleasant workshop environment Your Competence and Background We are looking for someone who Has experience in ceramics, preferably both artistic and pedagogical Has experience leading groups or teaching adults Is confident, inspiring, and pedagogical in your leadership Has good collaboration skills and can work independently Shares Folkuniversitetet's values regarding folk education and learning It is advantageous if you Have documented education in ceramics, crafts, and pedagogy Have experience with course activities within study associations, folk high schools, or similar About the Employment Fixed-term employment during the course period.
