Description of the Workplace The Guidance and Support Unit is part of the Education Division, which is part of LTH's administration and currently consists of 16 employees. The Education Division also includes staff working with admissions, examinations, scheduling, and program planning. The Guidance and Support Unit's overall goal is to support students on their path to graduation. You will be part of a team of study and career advisors and curators who drive and develop the operations based on a shared approach. Within the unit, we also work on LTH's efforts regarding equal conditions and work environment for students. Those of us working here have many different contact points and collaborations. You will become part of an engaged and experienced team where space is given for reflection, professional development, and the opportunity to influence your own work. We offer regular supervision from a trained supervisor. LTH provides education both in Lund and at Campus Helsingborg. Read more on the university's website about working with us: Work with Us at Lund University Tasks and Responsibilities As a curator at LTH, your main tasks are to support students both individually and in groups, as well as to participate in investigating, analyzing, and following up on LTH's work regarding equal conditions and work environment. You will work in different groups with a focus on development together with your colleagues while driving your work independently. Examples of tasks included in the role: Support conversations with students Collaboration with study and career advisors as well as with various actors within Lund University, e.g., pedagogical student support, student health services, and student chaplains Consultative conversations with teachers and administrative staff Collaboration with Teknologkåren and sections for the various study programs Preventive measures regarding mental health and equal conditions and work environment for LTH's students. The content of the employment may develop and change over time as the operations' needs change. Qualifications Requirements for employment: Degree in Social Work or other academic education that the employer deems equivalent Experience working as a curator with individuals and groups Good knowledge and ability to use conversation methods in supportive conversations Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as conversations and emails take place with both Swedish- and English-speaking students Good ability to deliver information and presentations to large groups in both Swedish and English We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. To succeed in the role, you need to be relationship-building, attentive, and confident in meeting with people. You have a good ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks while collaborating well with many people in different roles. You have a flexible working style and a good ability to work in a structured manner and handle periods of high workload. Furthermore, you are proactive and service-oriented. Merits for employment: Further training in CBT Experience working as a curator in higher education/university Knowledge of and experience working with people with functional variations Experience collaborating with healthcare and other authorities Experience working with young adults Knowledge of and/or experience working with equal conditions and diversity issues Consideration will be given to how the applicant, through their experience and competence, is assessed to complement and strengthen the work within the division and contribute to its future development. Other Information The employment is permanent with a scope of 100 percent with start in November 2026 or by agreement. A trial period may apply.
