About the Operation The Youth Health Clinic (UM) is a regional operation with clinics in all seven municipalities in the region. Organizationally, the operation belongs to Local Area West, but the work is conducted jointly across the entire region through close collaboration between the clinics. We work sustainably, person-centered, and with awareness of norms, with the needs of young people in focus. Preventive and health-promoting work forms the foundation of our operation, with the goal of strengthening and supporting young people's physical and mental health. Particular focus is on sexual and reproductive health and rights for young people aged 13–22. At our clinic, all young people should feel welcome, respected, and safe. We work on young people's behalf and offer support through short-term counseling sessions and initiatives that promote health and well-being. The Youth Health Clinic is not a first-line operation or a referral service. Our staff collaborate daily across the region through region-wide phone hours, shared schedules, and daily management via Teams. Together, we work toward equitable, accessible, and quality-assured care for the region's young people. We are now seeking a curator for the Youth Health Clinic for a shared position between the clinics in Sundsvall and Härnösand. This is a permanent full-time position with a start date by agreement. Responsibilities Individual counseling sessions with young people, both during in-person visits and via digital meetings Health-promoting, supportive, and preventive group sessions Receive and guide study visits Conduct outreach work and collaborate with other actors working with young people Work in multidisciplinary teams Close collaboration with other staff at the region's Youth Health Clinics, including other curators, midwives, physicians, nurses, and nursing assistants Contribute to operational development and create an accessible, safe, and welcoming clinic for the region's young people For more information about what working at a Youth Health Clinic involves, read the policy program/handbook at www.fsum.nu Qualifications We are looking for someone who Has a degree in social work (socionomexamen) Has strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Holds a category B driver's license It is advantageous if you Have previous experience working with young people Have experience in counseling support Have work experience in youth health clinic work or other norm-aware work with young people Have training in sexology Have experience leading groups Have strong knowledge of English, both spoken and written To succeed in this role, we believe you have these personal qualities Collaboration skills Initiative Holistic perspective Loyalty Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, Region Västernorrland is responsible for several of the operations that are most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
