The Social Services Department is responsible for individual and family care, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities. Youth Open Care Unit 13-20 is a service for young people ages 13-20 and their families. Within the unit are the following services: MiniMaria, Young People at Risk, Youth Housing Myren, Support Center for Young Crime Victims/mediation/youth service, and Youth Health Services, with a total of 19 employees. The Support Center for Young Crime Victims/mediation/youth service is part of the Young People at Risk group with the support of a group leader. Support Center and Mediation We offer help and support to crime victims, witnesses, and their relatives who live in Huddinge Municipality and are 10-21 years old. The work involves offering young crime victims and witnesses help at an early stage to process the crime event and its consequences. The work includes information in connection with the legal process, conversations, and practical support for the young person. Conversations may involve crisis counseling, processing conversations about the crime event, or the feelings and reactions it has triggered. Practical support may include practically supporting the young person in the legal process and in contacts with other services, for example in contact with the police, prosecutor, school, insurance companies, and the crime victim authority. We also offer mediation conversations. This is a temporary position lasting from 17/1-27 to 17/12-27. Youth Service In the role as coordinator for youth service, you will conduct influence conversations, recruit workplaces, place, and follow up young people for community service unpaid work. The role also includes documentation in needs-assessed and non-needs-assessed services. We are looking for you who enjoy varied work in a changing environment where no two days are the same! Qualifications You have a degree in social work. Experience working with the target group and previous work with mediation are merits. You have good knowledge of risk and protective factors for children and young people. You have knowledge of the social services organization and operations, as well as a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. You work both independently and in a structured manner by planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work well. You are relationship-building and have a very good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a receptive manner and enjoy collaborating with other professions. You have a child rights perspective with the young person in focus. The work involves a lot of independent work, with the support of a group leader, which requires that you as a person are responsible and driven.
