About UsHabilitation Center Stockholm Adults is a specialist clinic that is part of the Rehabilitation & Health operations. We provide services to people over 18 years of age with congenital or early-onset functional limitations that create difficulties in daily life, such as autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, or mobility impairment. By providing advice, support, and treatment to patients and their networks, we can prevent and reduce the difficulties that a functional limitation can bring. You will work in a multidisciplinary team with an occupational therapist, psychologist, social worker, physical therapist, and speech-language pathologist. Our goal is to create the best possible conditions for a functioning and meaningful everyday life. About the PositionWe are looking for a social worker (educated social worker) for our unit. As a social worker, you are responsible for the social worker's perspective in close collaboration with other professions on the unit. The work includes, among other things: Counseling on societal support. Conversational support to patients and relatives regarding the consequences of functional limitations. Work with patients and their networks regarding problem-causing behaviors. The work takes place both individually and in a team with other professions in our unit. Qualifications You have a degree in social work and preferably experience in rehabilitation and working with people in the target group of intellectual disability and/or mobility impairment. We would like to see that you have previous experience working in a social worker role. You have a strong interest in people with functional limitations. You are engaged in exploring and trying to understand patients who rarely function according to norms, who require major adjustments in approach and perspective-taking, and who require that you create individual and creative solutions to problems within existing care processes. You like to work independently as well as in a team and take personal responsibility for planning, developing, and moving patient work forward in a structured manner.
