Are you a counselor with experience in addiction, do you enjoy working in a team, and would you like to help develop our LARO clinic? Then you should apply for the job with us. As a new counselor with us, you will work alongside our experienced counselor at the clinic.
Duties
You need to find long-term patient contacts interesting. As a person, you are responsible, structured, creative, and good at collaboration. As a counselor at the clinic, you will have a central role in the assessment and evaluation work for patients seeking LARO treatment. You will also participate in treatment work through supportive, motivational, and relapse prevention conversations.
Qualifications
Licensed health and social care counselor or social work degree. We are looking for someone with an interest in, and preferably experience working with, our patient group. If you have basic psychotherapy training (step 1) in CBT, this is considered especially meritorious.
We appreciate that you have a few years of professional experience working with addiction issues. Experience in administrative authority is meritorious. Great weight is placed on personal suitability and characteristics.

About the Operation
The LARO clinic is part of specialist psychiatry and belongs to the Addiction Center. At LARO, substitution treatment is provided to people with opioid dependence in accordance with the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations and general advice on medication-assisted treatment for opioid dependence (HSLF 2016:1). The goal of LARO is to, through pharmacological treatment, psychological or psychosocial treatments, or social support, increase the possibilities for people with opioid dependence to achieve drug freedom as well as improved physical and mental health and social functioning. This takes place in multiprofessional teams, and a large part of the work involves cooperation with external actors, such as social services and the correctional system. At the LARO clinic, nurses, counselors, and doctors work together with the patient in focus.
