In addition to curators and psychologists, this includes occupational therapists, dietitians, speech-language pathologists, physiotherapists, and a wellness consultant. Together we are about 60 people. We have our own research and development group that stimulates and supports the development of our professions, provides good supervision of our students, supports improvement work, and promotes psychosocial well-being at the workplace. We have several forums to learn from each other, reflect on ethical issues, and exercise together. Our "Friday Fitness" is particularly popular. We are now seeking a curator for our pleasant unit. You will primarily work with patients and relatives within geriatrics. Health and Social Care Curator at Södertälje Hospital: Your responsibilities include psychosocial work, such as crisis and support counseling with patients and relatives, advice and guidance on social issues, and contact with other healthcare providers, partners, and authorities. You will meet patients and relatives in geriatric inpatient care as well as cognitive clinics and clinics for multi-morbid patients. Within these areas, you work together with other professional groups such as doctors, nurses, care assistants, physiotherapists, dietitians, and occupational therapists for the patient's benefit. Together with other curators at the hospital, you are responsible for curators' duties at the hospital. The position also includes being a crisis support provider within psychological and psychiatric disaster management. Your Personal Qualities: We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as flexibility, ability to take initiative, and working both independently and in a group. You will collaborate extensively with various departments, so the ability to build relationships and work in a team is of great importance. You should be able to prioritize and handle stressful situations and be involved in the department's quality and development work. Your Qualifications: Requirements: You have a degree in social work. Merits: It is advantageous if you are a licensed health and social care curator and have experience in psychosocial work. We would like to see that you have experience working in healthcare, experience facilitating patient and family groups. It is important that you have strong commitment and interest in working with patients with cognitive impairment/cognitive disease and multi-morbid elderly.
